Tianjin Foreign Studies University--Tianjin Government Scholarship
In order to promote the development of higher education of International students in Tianjin, to further improve the talent cultivation, scientific research, social service, and cultural exchange, Tianjin Municipal Government has set up the scholarship for international students.

For international students pursuingundergraduate, master anddoctoralprograms.

What the scholarship includes?
Tuition fee for the first year.
When to apply?
March to June every year. For specific date, please consult International Admission Office.
Eligibility
1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens applying to pursue undergraduate, master and doctoral programs at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
2. Applicants for undergraduate programs must have senor high school diploma and be under the age of 30.
3. Applicants for master programs must have a bachelor degree and be under the age of 35.
4. Applicants for doctoral programs must have a master degree and be under the age of 40.
5. Applicants have not obtained any other scholarship in the same year.
Application procedure
1. Applicants need to register and apply at our online application system. Fill out all the required information and upload the documents. (http://tfsu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx)
2. Applicants need to contact the International Admission Office for entrance exams or interviews.
3. The school mail the visa application documents (Admission notice and Jw202 form) to those who win the scholarship.
Application documents
1. A photocopy of passport
2. A photocopy of the applicant’s highest notarized degree.
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by the current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. Academic transcripts of the highest degree received. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
4. Two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors. (Needed for master and doctoral program applicants.)
5. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (photocopy)
6. Other supporting documents: HSK or other certificates
