I. General Introduction
Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU), one of China’s eight foremost higher education institutions specializing in foreign languages, is a multi-disciplinary university with “Foreign Language & Literature” as the predominant discipline. The program of ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Health Care’ is one of the “Chinese Bridge” online group exchange programs undertaken by our university. Traditional Chinese medicine is a major feature and highlight of the prevention and control of the coronavirus, and its advantages have once again attracted the world’s attention. The theme of this program is ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Health Care’, which is both cultural and practical. It aims to introduce Chinese medicine culture and health care knowledge to overseas Chinese enthusiasts, so that students can improve their Chinese language skills and have a good understanding of Chinese traditional Chinese medicine culture.
The program lasts for 10 days, with 45 minutes of live language lessons and 30 minutes of cultural recorded lessons every day.
The program is free of charge and a Certificate of Study will be issued at the end of it.

II. Program Contents
1. Learn Chinese: study Chinese with experienced Chinese language teachers;
2. Understand Chinese health care: follow well-known experts to learn about traditional Chinese medicine culture; learn about Chinese medicine culture through special lectures on ancient Chinese philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine culture;
3. Experience online: learn Taijiquan and Baduanjin with professionals; visit the medicinal materials museum and medicinal wine museum;
4. Communication and Interaction: online discussion with Chinese students.
III. Program Forms
This online program will be carried out online, indoors and outdoors, combining real-time language teaching and online activities.

January 10, 2022 - January 21, 2022 (UTC+8, the exact class time is determined according to the enrollment situation)
V. Who can apply
Students from 9 Confucius Institutes co-hosted by Tianjin Foreign Studies University. Students from universities which have friendly communication with Tianjin Foreign Studies University. Other overseas people who are interested in Chinese language and culture. There is no limit to age and education.
